Proposal checklist

Explain the details of your
product or service. What is the customer going to get for his or her money?

Explain the outcomes. What are
the benefits to the customer if he or she buys what you are selling?
·
Details the time frame
involved. How long will it take from start to finish?
·
Describe the total cost. How
much will it cost for each component? Can some components be removed and the
cost reduced?
·
Set your terms and condition.
When are payments due? How long will you work? If you travel who will pay your
expenses?
·
Explain the reporting
relationship. Who will you report to? Who else will you interact with while
delivering your product or service?
·
Describe any additional phases,
products and services. What else can you sell the customer that will fir in
with his or her current needs?
·
Detail your support system. How
much support will the customer receive from you after the sale has been
completed? Is it phone support? Is it on-site support? Is it included in the
initial cost or is it additional?
·
Close for action. Ask in the
last paragraph. ‘when can we get started?
·
Attach a list of reference.

can be edited and made to work for your needs.
